# What is LTV.ai?

> An email marketing platform for ecommerce brands that writes, targets, and sends your campaigns

LTV.ai is an email marketing platform for ecommerce brands. You describe the campaign you want in plain language, and LTV.ai writes the copy, generates the imagery, selects the audience from your customer data, and sends it on your own domain.

## What it does

## What a campaign is

A campaign in LTV.ai is a single, one-off email send. There are no drip sequences, automated flows, or trigger-based journeys. Every send is composed, targeted, and scheduled individually. If you want a follow-up, you create a second campaign.

## What you need

* **A [Shopify](/connect/shopify) store.** Shopify is the only ecommerce platform LTV.ai syncs with today.
* **A domain you can add DNS records to**, so email sends from your brand rather than a generic address.
* **Customer and order history.** Segmentation quality depends on how much of it you have.

  Stores on other platforms can still use LTV.ai by uploading customer lists and installing the tracking script, but product catalog and order sync will not be automatic. See [Other connections](/connect/other-connections).
