# Lists

> Build, import, and manage saved audiences

A list is a saved audience you can reuse across campaigns.

Find them under **Manage Modules > Lists**.

## Where lists come from

| Source              | Notes                                                                    |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| CSV upload | Columns are detected automatically. Uploads up to 150 MB. |
| Klaviyo segments | Synced live with contact counts. See [Klaviyo](/connect/klaviyo). |
| Mailchimp audiences | Synced from your connected account. See [Mailchimp](/connect/mailchimp). |
| Built in LTV.ai | Describe the audience you want in plain language. |

## Build a segment with AI

Choose **Build Segment with AI** and describe the audience you want. LTV.ai turns the description into a query against your customer data, shows you the count, and saves it as a list.

Things you can ask for:

* Customers who bought twice or more but not in the last 90 days
* Everyone in California who has spent over 200 dollars
* People who opened the last three campaigns but never clicked

You can segment on purchase behavior, engagement history, location, sign up date, and customer tags synced from Shopify.

<Note>
  A saved list is a snapshot of the query result at the time you saved it, not a live rule. Rebuild it before a campaign if the underlying data has moved.
</Note>

## Using a list

Lists can be used as a campaign audience or as an exclusion list. Any list can be either. See [Exclusions and suppression](/audience/exclusions).

## Uploading a CSV

Upload from the Lists page. LTV.ai reads the header row and maps the columns.

<Warning>
  Every upload is checked against your unsubscribe and bounce records before sending. An imported CSV cannot reintroduce someone who has already opted out.
